Day 1 Budapest

My day started off in Istanbul ! I had a lovely month stay in the wonderful city . Your asking why did I stay so long ? My main reason was the weather . I didn't want to travel somewhere and not be able to explore due to weather . January and February the weather really is unstable in this part of the world .

My flight from Istanbul to Budapest was an hour and half . I have been on better flight for sure . I survived and that's all that matters.

My advice about Budapest Airport there isn't many services but there is a Spars grocery store . I was unable to get a SIM card at the airport and the atm machine was broke . Never a good scenario of either . I was going to take the bus, but I would of had an hour and half wait. I opted for a taxi . I know it's expensive $30 euro but can you put a price on peace?

It was late in the day and i was unable to do much but walked around a bit . Visited a candy store , Icathedral and had a authentic Hungarian dinner.

Made up Goulash, potato dumplings, and chicken topped off with a bottle of Prosecco. It was very yummy .

Now I sit here in a wine bar having a few drinks while writing this . Tomorrow will be a big day .
